REGISTRATION CHECK LIST

NON DEGREE SEEKING STUDENTS


Tuition is due approximately one week after classes begin.

If you wait until the deadline to start this process there could be delays in processing your application. For a complete list of critical dates and deadlines for UF EDGE, continue to this page.

Non degree admission must be requested each semester. Only a limited number of credits taken in this status can be counted towards a Master's degree. This number varies within each department. It is advisable to apply to Graduate School during your first semester as a non degree seeking student. You should also check with your department to see what their policy is on transfer of credits from this status. It is your responsibility to make sure that your courses will transfer.

Instructions

  1. Submit the online non degree application http://www.isis.ufl.edu/cgi-bin/nirvana?MDASTRAN=RSI-NDAPBFor "Special Program" choose EDGE, not WEB. This will avoid delays in processing your application. If you want to claim Florida Residnecy for tuition purposes, you must provide the documentation that supports residency at the same time you submit the non degree application.
    When an admission decision is made, you will receive an email notification from UF EDGE . This email will include your 8 digit UF ID and further instruction on how to complete your registration.
